A La Rhonde, near our Care Home in ExmouthManor Lodge is in a quiet residential area of Exmouth known as The Avenues, half a mile from the town centre and seafront of this popular coastal resort of about 30,000 people at the mouth of the River Exe Estuary in East Devon.

There are dramatic views across the estuary to Dawlish Warren nature reserve and the glorious backdrop of the Haldon Hills, with Dartmoor National Park beyond. The town has rail and bus links to Devon’s capital city of Exeter, about 12 miles to the north, and is easily reached by road from Junction 30 of the M5 eight miles away.

Exmouth enjoys a range of community events throughout the year, including a spring arts festival, summer fun-time programme, sailing regatta, October illuminated carnival and Christmas Day sea swim.
